The inaugural edition of Blooming Yangang 2025, organised by the Yangang Tourism Development Committee (YTDC) and the organising committee, brought colour, creativity and community spirit to Yangang through a two-day celebration of flowers, local entrepreneurship, culture and tourism.
Centred around a Flower Exhibition-cum-Sale, the festival provided an opportunity to showcase floral varieties, encourage horticultural activities and promote the products and talents of local growers, entrepreneurs and self-help groups.
The event brought together community members, visitors, local businesses, artists and young people, creating a lively platform for grassroots participation and economic opportunities.
One of the memorable highlights was the 10K Marathon, which attracted enthusiastic runners from across the region and celebrated the growing spirit of sports, fitness and community involvement in Yangang.
Alongside the exhibitions and activities, the festival offered a space for cultural expression, local enterprise and meaningful interaction between residents and visitors.
Blooming Yangang 2025 reflected YTDC’s broader vision of promoting sustainable tourism, supporting local livelihoods and celebrating the natural beauty and cultural identity of Yangang.
The success of its inaugural edition laid the foundation for Blooming Yangang to grow into a recurring celebration of nature, entrepreneurship, culture and community pride.
