Yangang, South Sikkim | April 1, 2025 – As Sikkim celebrates 50 years of Statehood, Yangang is honoured to host the International Youth Conclave for Tourism Development from April 12–14, 2025. This landmark event will bring together youth leaders, tourism experts, and international delegates to shape the future of sustainable tourism in the Eastern Himalayas.
Under the guidance of Hon’ble Deputy Speaker and Area MLA Smt. Raj Kumari Thapa, and led by the Yangang Tourism Development Committee (Y.T.D.C.), the town is undergoing rapid beautification and infrastructure enhancements in preparation for the summit.
With the central theme “Celebrating Sikkim’s 50 Years of Statehood,” the conclave will spotlight Yangang’s emergence as a tourism destination, showcase Sikkim’s eco-tourism success stories, and foster meaningful dialogues on innovation, sustainability, and cultural preservation.
